Description Agile Occupational Medicine is hiring a detail-oriented Medical Scribe in assisting with clerical duties related to medical documentation. Duties include recording a Physician’s interactions with patients, filling out paperwork, summaries and referral letters after a visit and entering data into medical records. In this role, you will play a vital role supporting Agile’s health care providers so that patients can fully utilize and benefit from the clinic services. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently document patient encounters, medical histories, physical exams, and treatment plans in the electronic health record (EHR) system. • Work closely with the supervising physician to ensure timely and precise completion of medical documentation and records. • Observe and learn about the medical decision-making process while supporting the care team in delivering high-quality patient care. • Communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients to ensure clear and accurate information flow. • Assist in ordering tests, entering prescriptions electronically, and managing documentation related to diagnostic or treatment plans. • Ensure all patient information is handled in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality standards. • Help streamline clinic operations by preparing charts, organizing patient information, and ensuring documentation is ready prior to each visit. • Track and follow up on outstanding lab results, imaging reports, and other relevant documentation as directed by the physician. • Maintain awareness of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows to continuously improve documentation quality. • Perform other related duties and administrative support tasks as assigned. Requirements • High school diploma or equivalent • Computer skills required, including data entry skills and proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills to ensure outstanding patient care • Attention to detail and focus on accuracy • Ability to maintain patient confidentiality • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems • Previous work experience in occupational medicine clinic setting desired • Bilingual Spanish preferred Benefits: • Competitive salary • Comprehensive benefits package • Optimal work life balance with no nights, no weekends, and no holidays requirement to work • Opportunity to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment • Be part of a team that is passionate about making a difference • Agile offers an annual CME Stipend ($1,000-$1,500) as well as Medbridge subscription Salary: • Starting compensation range $20.00 - $23.00 hourly.
