SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE

Regenerative Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is seeking qualified individuals pursuing a career in medicine who may be interested in a full-time career as a Medical Assistant/Medical Scribe. We are seeking an individual with an interest in both pelvic health and orthopedic rehabilitation to become a part of our dynamic, patient-focused D. C clinic where you can make a meaningful impact every day.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• New MA graduates, or recent pre-med graduates are welcome to apply
• Candidates who are not certified MAs are welcome to apply (Associates degree or higher required) we will train and register you to work in our office as an MA/Scribe
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR)
• Ability to type 80-100 wpm
• General medical assisting
• Phlebotomy experience a plus (on the job training available)
• Strong working knowledge of the musculoskeletal system a plus!

• Rooming/triaging patients
• Medical scribing and maintaining the electronic patient record (ATHENA)
• Support specialized pelvic floor therapy for women, men, and individuals across the gender spectrum
• Treat a wide range of orthopedic conditions—from post/pre-op rehab to chronic pain and sports injuries
• Collaborate with a team of experienced clinicians in a supportive and innovative environment
• Technical hands-on support, applying casts, splints and durable medical equipment.
• Exam room maintenance
• Collaboration with other departments (front desk, medical assistants, etc.)
