Description

This is a remote position. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM EST (1-hour unpaid break) Total Weekly Hours: 40 hours Responsibilities Listen in on patient–provider consultations via Zoom or EMR-integrated platforms Record and update medical notes, diagnoses, and treatment plans in Practice Fusion Maintain accurate and organized patient charts and follow-up documentation Assist with back-office tasks: file organization, lab result uploads, document routing, etc. Coordinate with nurses or physicians to clarify documentation as needed Ensure full compliance with HIPAA privacy and data handling standards Provide additional clerical support as needed within the nursing home environment Requirements 2+ years of experience in medical scribing, transcription, or clinical documentation Experience in nursing home or long-term care settings (preferred) Familiarity with Practice Fusion or other EMR/EHR systems Excellent English listening, writing, and communication skills Strong attention to detail and solid knowledge of medical terminology Stable internet connection and ability to work U.S. business hours Healthcare/medical background required Independent Contractor Perks HMO coverage (available in eligible locations) Permanent work-from-home setup Immediate hiring ZR_29347_JOB
