Description Precision Healthcare Specialists is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Medical Scribe to support our Urology providers. The Medical Scribe will work directly alongside the physician to accurately document patient encounters in real-time, ensuring complete and precise medical records while allowing the provider to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. This role is ideal for individuals interested in gaining hands-on clinical experience in a fast-paced urology practice. Key Responsibilities Accompany the Urology provider during patient visits and document all aspects of the clinical encounter in the electronic medical record (EMR) Accurately record patient history, physical exams, procedures, assessments, and treatment plans Document diagnostic test results, labs, imaging, and referrals Assist with chart preparation prior to clinic sessions Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and billing requirements Update patient charts promptly and efficiently Communicate effectively with providers and clinical staff to clarify documentation as needed Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required Medical terminology knowledge required; urology terminology preferred Prior medical scribe or clinical experience preferred Experience with EMR systems strongly preferred Strong typing skills and attention to detail Excellent listening, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment Professional demeanor and strong work ethic Preferred Experience Previous experience in urology or surgical specialty practice Pre-med, pre-PA, pre-nursing, or healthcare career track candidates encouraged to apply Work Environment Clinic-based position Full-time or part-time opportunities available May require standing for extended periods Direct daily interaction with physicians and patients Why Join Precision Healthcare Specialists?
