ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

Fairfield Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Medical Secretary to join our dedicated team. This position presents an excellent opportunity for an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in healthcare and a comprehensive understanding of the NSW Hospital Medical Workforce structure.
The successful candidate will provide high-level administrative support across a range of medical specialties, including Intensive Care, Anaesthetics, General Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, and Paediatrics. Key responsibilities include complex diary management, coordination of meetings, preparation of accurate correspondence, and support for departmental objectives. The role also encompasses rostering, payroll processing, and travel arrangements for senior medical staff, contributing to the efficient operation of clinical services.
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic environment.
