Your impact, with us
As our highly valued Medical Secretary, you’ll use your skills and expertise to provide quality care to patients with a wide range of cardiovascular conditions.
While your primary base will be in Armadale, the majority of your working days will be spent at our Murdoch location. Some travel between our Advara HeartCare sites may be required, and you may also be asked to provide short-term administrative relief at other practices, contributing to our ongoing commitment to excellence in healthcare delivery.

Responsibilities:

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Previous experience in a medical secretary role including coordinating a specialist’s schedule, bookings and clinics and providing a PA service to the specialists
  • Previous experience with a strong medical terminology and cardiology terminology (desirable)
  • Previous experience in computerized billing and receipting
  • An ability to work effectively both independently, in a team and within wider systems
  • An understanding of customer service principles with an ability to respond sensitively to patient needs
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to fluctuating workflow and internal/external demands
  • Must hold a current Australian driver’s license.
