Description Position Status: Full-Time Supervisor: Clinic Manager What You’ll Do: Answers multi-phone lines system with moderate to heavy call volume. Checks and responds to voicemail when other team members are in clinic Pre-screens/performs initial triage via phone prior to scheduling initial or follow-up appointment Send/receive dictation and notify physician of incomplete or missing dictation. Verify private or worker’s compensation patient insurance information. Responds to missing/rejected ticket list Responds to billing, dashboard and/or professional reimbursement department for any patient-related information Completes medical forms (i.e., medical records requests, FMLA, short term disability, etc.) for patient related information. Daily, pulls schedule and prepares charts for next business day (including film, lab results, or other patient related data) and indicates the purpose of the patient’s visit. Obtain and distribute mail. Requires predictable and consistent attendance. Requirements What You’ll Need: High School Diploma or equivalent. 1-2 years of experience in a medical environment. Computer literate, type 35 wpm, exceptional organizational/prioritizing skills, ability to apply independent judgment, self-starter, planning skills a must. Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment. Other duties as assigned as necessary and may vary at times, as needed, by your immediate supervisor or as directed by the company. Requires prolonged sitting, some bending, stooping and stretching. Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other equipment. Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare and communicate patient related documents. Normal office environment.
