Description

The Histology department of Berkshire & Surrey Pathology Services, based at the Frimley Park Hospital, is looking for a flexible, well organised and methodical person to join the admin team providing secretarial and administration support.
In order to ensure a quality service, you will need to work using a high level of initiative, prioritising your workload to ensure targets to meet the national histology turnaround times are met.
Your main duties will involve audio typing of histology reports, dealing with a variety of administration tasks, and assisting the Consultant Histopathologists.
Experience of Medical terminology, especially pathological terminology, will be an advantage but full training will be given to the successful candidate.
