About the Role

Our Patient Services Officers (Medical Secretaries) are at the heart of our practice, acting as the key connection between patients, clinicians and the wider healthcare team.

The position is full time, with regular hours Monday to Friday only, and the role involves:

Patient Communication & Support

  • Answer incoming calls and respond to patient enquiries professionally and compassionately
  • Schedule appointments and manage clinician diaries
  • Maintain accurate patient records and information
  • Assist patients with information regarding appointments, procedures and fees

Administrative & Financial Coordination

  • Process referrals, correspondence and medical documentation
  • Prepare quotes, invoices and process payments
  • Manage patient financial records and follow up outstanding accounts
  • Coordinate theatre bookings and liaise with hospitals and healthcare providers
  • Maintain accurate data entry and documentation
  • Support the smooth day-to-day operation of the clinic

Team & Clinic Support

  • Act as the central coordination point for patient care
  • Collaborate closely with medical, nursing and administrative teams
  • Uphold patient confidentiality and professionalism at all times
  • Contribute positively to our supportive team environment
