Description

We are looking for an expereinced medical secretary to join a small but busy private practice. In this role you would be carrying out a full secretarial & reception service within a private medical clinic setting.
Full Time Hours ; Monday -Friday, 9-5pm -London Bridge Clinic location.
On-site clinic working due to patient / clinic safety needs

Responsibilities include;

  • Liaising with patients on a daily basis (telephone / email / in-person)
  • Diary Management; booking appointments, meetings - taking pre-payments, confirming appointments including managing telemedicine links.
  • Registering new patients, dealing with referrals from professionals,
  • Preparing files for clinic, filing (electronic / paper)
  • Maintaining clinical management system (MidexPro)
  • Generating prescriptions for signature (E-software)
  • Invoicing (Healthcode, PMI billing portals)
  • Taking payments in advance (Online terminals/Card machine)
  • Banking reconciliations (Xero)
  • Handling Telephone / Email queries (Outlook)
  • Meet & Greet / Reception duties as required

What experience you’ll need:

  • Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Being able to work under pressure
  • Confidence talking on the telephone
  • Previous Administration / Secretarial experience (desirable)
  • Accounting experience (desirable)
  • Psychiatric / Mental Health experience (an advantage)
  • Have the ability to organise, plan and prioritise time effectively
  • Strong Administration / customer service skills
  • Audit, Governance & Regulatory experience (an advantage)
