Your role at St John of God Midland Hospital We are seeking a proactive and highly detail-orientated individual with strong proficiency in credentialing and governance to deliver high-quality administrative support to the Medical Services Team. In this critical role, you will take ownership of all credentialing requirements and associated information, ensuring full compliance, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory standards.You will work closely with Senior Medical Staff and key stakeholders, maintaining clear and professional communication to support seamless and efficient credentialing processes. The Position: Lead the accurate management and governance of all medical staff credentialing through the eCredential system, ensuring complete, compliant, and audit-ready records at all times Ensure rigorous oversight of onboarding and credentialing processes, including AHPRA compliance and pre-employment checks, with a strong focus on accuracy and regulatory adherence Provide high-quality governance and secretariat support to the Scope of Practice Committee, ensuring precise documentation, thorough minute-taking, and effective tracking of actions Oversee and ensure timely, compliant registration of Medicare provider numbers and health fund billing, proactively resolving issues and escalating non-compliance risks Maintain strong governance through proactive liaison with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring credentialing consistency across sites while delivering work to an exceptionally high standard The ideal candidate will bring proven experience supporting senior medical staff within a healthcare environment, along with a strong commitment to governance and compliance. They will consistently deliver work of an exceptionally high standard and demonstrate the flexibility required to respond effectively to changing priorities. This role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage professionally with executives, managers, caregivers, and external stakeholders. A high level of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail is essential in all interactions and outputs. Success in this position depends on the ability to thrive in a high-expectation environment. The successful candidate will be highly organised, capable of managing competing priorities, and confident in problem-solving and escalation when required. They will demonstrate resilience, adaptability to feedback, and a clear commitment to producing precise, high-quality work both independently and as part of a team.
