Description

We are looking for a pro-active, motivated individual who will provide high quality administrative support for the provision of an effective, integrated and comprehensive recruitment and resourcing service with regard to the recruitment and on-boarding of medical staff.
Applicants must have excellent communication skills, a good working knowledge of recruitment and be flexible in their approach. Applicants should also be team players and possess interpersonal and organisational skills.
The post holder will assist the provision of an extensive effective and comprehensive recruitment service for the medical workforce within our trust. Ensuring recruitment is robust, timely and following Trust policies, procedures and recruitment best practice.
Applicants will be required to provide a high quality, customer focused service with a strong attention to detail and accuracy. Additionally, maintaining regular contact with the medical workforce and wider stakeholders.

Our workforce of almost 9,000 staff provide high quality emergency, elective and specialist care across a range of clinical areas.

  • To oversee recruitment for all Medical & Dental staff
  • Ensure all pre-employment checks are done in accordance with local and NHS standards
  • Ensure adherence to UKVI statutory requirements for visas.
  • Support the on-boarding of Medical and Dental Staff in to our Trust.
  • Ensuring IT systems are maintained and accurately updated, including the provision of reports where required.
  • Manage the recruitment of Locum Doctors and Honorary Contracts for the medical workforce.
  • Administer and maintain the leave system used by the Medical Workforce and monitor against Trust policy supported by the Resourcing Advisor
  • Manage emails and phone calls coming in to the team, ensuring these are dealt with efficiently.
  • Support the wider Medical Staffing Team when required
  • Provide ongoing employment/contractual support to our Medical Workforce
  • Manage notifications/amendments with payroll
