Are you someone who is objective, confident team player and problem solver? If yes, Lakemary is looking for a Medical Support Tech for our Children's Residential Service Program. This role supports the health and well-being of children by assisting with medical appointments, supporting nursing staff, and providing direct care int classroom and residential settings. Phlebotomy experience is a plus but can be trained on the job. This role functions under general supervision of the Senior Director of Health Services. Medical Support Tech Responsibilities: Provide compassionate driven care and supervision of children and youth. Learn and apply each child's treatment plan and implement therapeutic interventions as necessary. Safely transport children to and from medical appointments, ensuring timely arrival and positive representation of Lakemary. Assist with appointment coordination, documentation, and follow-up care under the direction of nursing staff. Provide direct care and supervision in classroom and residential environments. Respond to crisis situations using approved behavior management techniques. Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members. An ideal candidate for this position has: Good decision-making skills and maturity Reliability Champion honesty and integrity Good problem-solving skills Good communications skills Previous driver’s experience preferred Medical Support Tech Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED or equivalent Be at least 18+ years of age Phlebotomy experience preferred but not required (onsite training available). Other Job Details: Day hours: 7am-3:15pm Monday through Friday - Some flexibility of schedule is required. Starting pay: $17.00- 19.00/hour, based on qualification and experience.
