Description Heartline Staffing, strategic talent partners with Purple Cow Recruiting, is seeking a compassionate and reliable Medical-Surgical Orthopedic Registered Nurse to join a patient-centered care team in Tallahassee, Florida. In this role, the RN provides care to adult patients who are ill, injured, or recovering, with a strong focus on orthopedic and medical-surgical care. Nurses are expected to perform comprehensive assessments, manage patient care autonomously, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to deliver high-quality outcomes. This position offers a supportive team environment, manageable nurse-to-patient ratios, and opportunities for professional growth within a collaborative hospital setting. Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5 – 1:6 Available Shifts: - Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (rotating weekends) - Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (rotating weekends) Compensation: Hourly pay based on experience: $27.72 – $39.60 per hour Shift Differentials: - $3.00 per hour for nights - $2.00 per hour for weekends Sign-On Bonus: Up to $20,000 available on a case-by-case basis Relocation assistance available on a case-by-case basis. Requirements Education: - Associate Degree in Nursing required - BSN preferred Licensure: - Active Florida RN license or ability to obtain prior to start Experience: - Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience required - Acute care experience strongly preferred - LTAC experience considered Certifications: - BLS required - ACLS preferred and required within 6 months of hire Additional: - Ability to complete a required shadow interview - Strong communication, assessment, and patient advocacy skills Heartline Staffing is a Strategic Talent Partner with Purple Cow Recruiting.
