MEDICAL TECH, LAB TECH, F/T POSITIONS APPROX AN HOUR FROM ANCHORAGE, ALASKA

• $80 - $115k salary per annum
• $20 - $25k sign on / relocation allowance

SUMMARY:

• Work under the direction of the Laboratory Manager
• Tech is responsible for performing lab tests, quality control, communicate with physicians, nurses and patients.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE MEDICAL TECH, LAB TECH:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or a related field
• Board eligible by NCA or ASCP, complete board certification within a year of hire
• Certification at MT by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by National Accrediting Agency (NCA) within one year of employment
• Clinical laboratory instrumentation
• Hospital Laboratory Generalist experience
• 1-3 years’ hospital laboratory experience - Haematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Blood bank
