The Government of Nauru is seeking an experienced and strategic Medical Tourism Coordinator to lead and expand the country’s medical and wellness tourism initiatives. This role will focus on developing and executing strategies to connect Nauruan patients with quality medical care abroad—such as in India, Thailand, and other destinations—while also exploring opportunities to develop Nauru’s own wellness tourism offerings.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, tourism, healthcare, or a related field; Master’s preferred.
• 8–10 years of experience in medical tourism, international patient coordination, healthcare strategy, or related roles.
• Proven experience in managing international medical travel and building treatment packages.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Familiarity with popular medical tourism destinations and the visa/treatment processes involved.
• Strong organizational and strategic planning abilities.
