About the Role We are hiring a full-time Medical Virtual Assistant to support a chiropractic firm specializing in pain management. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced VA who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment and can confidently support both administrative and patient-related workflows. Responsibilities Live Scribing (real-time during encounters) Enter ICD-10 codes per provider direction Send labs and medications to pharmacies Send referrals Follow up on medication and imaging prior authorizations (PAs) as needed Coding Enter ICD-10 codes during live scribing Administrative & Billing Support Track and follow up on submitted bills Coordinate modifications/changes as needed (billing executed by a separate company) Provide administrative support as needed Prior Authorizations Support PA team for medications and imaging to prevent delays Virtual Presence On-camera for the full shift via Zoom/Google Meet Note: Coding/scribing duties and billing follow-ups will be coordinated on a separate schedule. Qualifications Strong knowledge and experience in obtaining prior authorizations, insurance verification & medical billing. Experience in live scribing Having license as a medical coder is a plus Strong English communication skills Proficiency in NextGen is a plus Prior experience in a rheumatology practice is a plus. Able to be in a virtual video conference room for the entire shift. Familiarity with Availity and common insurance platforms Familiarity with Clinect and Broadvoice is a plus Reliable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently Basic requirements Must have relevant work experience Be able to submit an NBI clearance and/or Local Police Clearance background check before onboarding [mandatory] Must have no other clients during required work hours Technical Requirements Device: Reliable laptop or desktop computer.
