Description Full-time, 30-40 hours a week, 3 shifts per week 12 hour shifts, 7am-7pm, may include weekends and/or holidays. Includes shift differentials. Benefited position after 60-day waiting period. Job Summary: Passes medications in a sanitary manner, according to facility policy on medicine and according to regulations governing the Provision of Medications by Medication Aids. Charts all medications accurately in appropriate place. Must provide medications following the fourteen competency standards. Assists any resident with minimal care such as: bathing, dressing, making bed, ensuring resident gets to dining room, etc. Is aware of resident’s rights. Treats residents with consideration, respect and full recognition of his/her dignity and individuality Requirements Experience: No prior experience is needed. On the job training. Education: Minimum of 10th grade education. Licensure: Must possess active 40-hour Nebraska Assisted Living Medication Aide License. Keep Medication Aide license active and complete yearly competency testing. Current CPR certification.
