This is a rotating Schedule: Day and Swing Shifts Pierce County’s only Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic: Comprehensive Life Resources is looking for a qualified Medication Tech to join our team in Tacoma, WA. All benefits contingent on working a scheduled 40hrs a week. Function: Provide residential medication monitoring services to mentally ill clients. Facilitate the community adjustment of clients at high risk for institutionalization. Serves as a member of the organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs. Responsibilities Monitor Park Place residents’ self-administration of medications. Facilitate continuity of care. Document all medication monitoring and self-medications in EHR program or Medication Administration Record (MAR) , including progress notes as needed. Coordinate with the medical team to ensure medications are ordered and filled. Provide services and activities for residential clients that enhance self-care skills, independence, social skills, and self-reliance. Participate in meetings and activities as required. Work a schedule as needed to support 24/7 nursing services In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned within scope of practice Qualifications Qualifications High school graduate or GED. Strong analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal communications skills. Demonstrated ability to prioritize deadlines, work independently, take initiative, and maintain confidentiality. Responsibilities
