WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN A MEDICATION TECHNICIAN We are looking for Medication Technicians who are dependable, respectful, friendly, and compassionate to assist our residents with their medication and care needs. RESPONSIBILITIES OF MEDICATION TECHNICIANS Medication Technicians are responsible for the health and safety of the residents. This includes tracking, ordering, and dispensing medications accurately to 30-40 residents. Other responsibilities include conducting and recording blood sugar tests, administering insulin injections, and obtaining resident vitals. Medication Technicians also assist in communication with family members and doctors, and scheduling doctors appointments. Other tasks include assisting in caregiving as needed or directed. SHIFTS OF MEDICATION TECHNICIANS Morning 6:00 am to 2:15 pm Afternoon 2:00 pm to 10:15 pm Nights 10:00 pm to 6:15 am EMPLOYEE BENEFITS We offer a range of valuable benefits to our employees including low-cost health insurance with vision and optional dental insurance. Requirements MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Be able to speak, read, write, and understand English. Be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include weekend shifts. Be able to lift up to 50 pounds, aid in resident transfers, walk/stand 80% or more of shifts, and respond to all resident and emergency needs quickly, with or without reasonable accommodation.
