Position is available at 3901 Stonecroft Blvd, Chantilly, VA 20151 Featured Benefits:  * Committed to Team Member Health: offering medical, dental and vision coverage, and a robust team member wellness program.  * Retirement: Inova matches the first 5% of eligible contributions – starting on your first day.  * Tuition and Student Loan Assistance: offering up to $5,250 per year in education assistance and up to $10,000 for student loans.  * Mental Health Support: offering all Inova team members, their spouses/partners, and their children 25 mental health coaching or therapy sessions, per person, per year, at no cost. * Work/Life Balance: offering paid time off, paid parental leave, flexible work schedules, and remote and hybrid career opportunities.   Clinical Pharmacist Job Responsibilities: * Supports optimization of medication utilization to ensure the safe, clinically effective, and cost-effective medication use and availability across the Inova Health System. * Develop clinical and operational drug shortage management strategies to ensure optimal use of available medications in collaboration with clinical and operational pharmacy teams. * Collects, analyzes, and disseminates information on medication utilization, and integrate with systems and processes including clinical, safety, prescribing, administration, procurement, and distribution systems to optimize medication use across the Inova Health System.  * Serve as the Pharmacist-In-Charge at the Pharmacy Warehouse and help support operations at the site. * Provides accurate, adequate, and timely drug shortage information to the professional staff and contributes to newsletters for physicians and other healthcare professionals.   Minimum Qualifications: * Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor degree in Pharmacy. * Experience: Five (5) years as a clinical Pharmacist. Minimum One (1) year of experience in clinical and operational drug shortage management strategies. * Licensed Pharmacist in the state of VA.   * Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.  We are Inova, Northern Virginia’s leading nonprofit healthcare provider. Responsibilities
The Medication Utilization Pharmacist supports the optimization of medication use across the Inova Health System to ensure safety and cost-effectiveness. They are also responsible for developing drug shortage management strategies and serving as the Pharmacist-In-Charge at the pharmacy warehouse.
