About the Role: We are looking for a motivated individual to join the Medico Legal Team. The Medico Legal Support Officer reporting to the Director, will work as part of a small but dedicated team in supporting our Medico Legal Advisors as well as coordinating medico legal related meetings and requests for legal advice. This includes but is not limited to supporting processes for management of litigation and claims, including third party claims and Coronial investigations. You will be responsible for the flow of information between the ACT Insurance Authority (ACTIA) from a medico legal perspective and the ACT Government Solicitor (ACTGS). The role will also provide support to team members involved in medico legal processes across all CHS and assist with delivering education as required. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated with the ability to demonstrate initiative and team collaboration, can think strategically and support the team, has critical thinking and analysis skills, is proficient in the use of computer applications, and is proficient in administrative support to a wider team.
