Description

At the PMC, traditional production work is not the primary focus. Our emphasis is on preparing, conducting, and supporting customer demonstrations, workshops, application tests, and training sessions for national and international visitors. As a key contact person, you will represent cutting-edge HEIDELBERG technologies to customers from around the world and make a significant contribution to a professional customer experience.

Your tasks

Preparation, execution and follow-up of customer demonstrations and application tests in digital printing
Operation and support of state-of-the-art digital printing systems, workflow solutions, and connected inline and nearline finishing systems.
Technical consulting and support for national and international customers during demonstrations, workshops and training sessions
Conducting product, system and application training for internal and external participants
Analysis and optimization of printing, finishing and workflow processes
Participation in testing of new machines, applications and technologies
Support for product launches, customer projects, installations and service calls
Development and implementation of new applications, print patterns and applications
Close collaboration with development, product management, service and sales

Your profile

Completed vocational training or studies in the field of media design, printing and media technology, or a comparable qualification
Several years of practical experience in digital printing, preferably in the inkjet environment, is absolutely essential.
A solid understanding of prepress processes and workflow solutions (e.g., Prinect or comparable systems) is absolutely essential.
Experience with inline and nearline finishing solutions and the associated downstream processing processes
Excellent understanding of production processes, print quality, color management and finishing
Strong customer and service orientation
Enjoyment of direct interaction with customers as well as presentations, demonstrations and training.
Strong communication skills and a confident and professional demeanor
Structured, independent and solution-oriented work style
Excellent written and spoken German and English skills are required.
Additional foreign languages are expressly welcome and an advantage.
