WHAT DOES THE JOB LOOK LIKE?

We are looking for an innovative BI/Data Platform Tester with a strong focus on quality assurance and control. In this role, you will be responsible for the (data) quality and reliability of our reporting and analytics platform and the quality of the change management process. Together with the Reporting team, which uses PowerBI, you will be at the forefront of facilitating our business with state-of-the-art data products, ensuring that we are AI-ready and able to make data-driven decisions that help our organization solve important problems.
Key Responsibilities:
-

Testing data platform objects according to business requirements and functional design. Following best practices for quality assurance and control.

  • Performing regression testing.
  • (Coordinate) User Acceptance Testing.
  • Quality Assurance and control.
  • Improving and managing change and configuration management processes.
  • Record and track defects uncovered during test execution and assist in defect resolution (troubleshooting and researching).
Responsibilities
  • A bachelor’s degree.
  • 3 years of recent experience as a BI/ data platform tester.
  • 3 years of recent experience in testing methodologies, data validation, and automation.
  • 3 years of experience in an agile environment.
  • Experience with PySpark, MDX, DAX, and test automation tools.
  • Ability to validate data transformations, aggregations, and business rules.
  • Understanding of data lineage and impact analysis
