WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• Master degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with a proven track record in financial management and reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software (experience with Exact Globe is a plus) and advanced Excel skills. Familiarity with financial modelling and analysis tools.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in Dutch and English, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
• Ability to adapt to changing business environments and work effectively under pressure.
• Experience in a project organization such as architecture or construction industry is a plus.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Take ownership of the financial close process across a dynamic international portfolio—including Paris, Berlin, New York, and Shanghai—while shaping the financial backbone of a creative, project-driven organisation. You’ll join a forward-thinking, collaborative team where your expertise and leadership will have real impact.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for the month- and year-end close of several entities, primarily participations in Paris, Berlin, New York, and Shanghai.
• Coordinate external audits of the international entities, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all audit requirements.
• Support the Senior Financial Controller with the month- and year-end close of the Dutch entities.
• Assist the Senior Financial Controller with the external audits of the Dutch and international entities.
• Supervise the Financial Administrator and provide backup support when required.
• Review intercompany transactions and reconciliations, including transfer pricing calculations, and prepare intercompany invoices (incoming and outgoing).
• Prepare VAT returns for all group companies and/or submit documentation for VAT purposes.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
• Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements and reports.
