Smartspotter is part of Hamilton Bright. Therefore, the application process takes place through Hamilton Bright. SmartSpotter was founded in 2012 out of frustration with the lack of transparency in agreements between retailers and suppliers. We offer technical solutions to measure compliance of these agreements and facilitate an open dialogue of their results. We have a respectable number of well-known brands and retailers amongst our customers and continue to grow both within and outside of the Netherlands. We started out crowdsourcing information from shop floors: thousands of Spotters make money collecting data for our clients using their smartphones. But our product portfolio is expanding. Using our expertise and experience, anything that we can develop that improves compliance of agreements within retail is considered worthy of investigating further. You’ll ensure that thousands of Spotters and our international clients can rely on fast, user-friendly, and stable software. Working closely with our commercial and operational teams, you’ll have a direct influence on the strategic direction of our company. Our Technology stack: Our primary stack is Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and React. We also develop our native mobile apps (iOS & Android) fully in-house. Experience with web frameworks similar to Rails is required; experience with Rails and native app development is a strong plus. Who are we looking for? You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent experience. You have experience developing web applications in Rails or similar frameworks. You are skilled with Git, Linux, SQL, JavaScript, and React. You are ambitious, creative, and entrepreneurial.
