The Industry team focuses on actively seeking and delivering implementations of InControl simulation software and building & maintaining software applications in: Material Handling, Airports, Warehousing, Logistics.
The basis of our products is strong and proven digital twin software (discrete event simulation). That core competence we translate into end-use applications to be used by the operational counterparts with our customers.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
InControl is looking for a Medior Simulation Engineer for our Industry team. In this role you are responsible for the development of innovative simulation software solutions for our customers, from concept to implementation. You work on building, delivering and maintaining simulation-based applications and models. Customers, such as airports, warehouses and logistical companies, use these simulation-based tools to make logistical processes more efficient and safer. We help our customers to gain better insight into their processes and to optimize them. We do this by advising on various issues, such as testing and comparing process designs, identifying bottlenecks and determining the capacity and reliability of a system. This requires a combination of good interviewing and listening skills combined with strong conceptual capabilities and a good understanding of how to build and deliver an application/model that meets market requirements.
