Quantitative Developer Intern (Pipeline Team) Tudor Pipeline group seeks an organized and proficient Quant Developer intern to join their team. The candidate will work within a team of extremely talented and collaborative Quantitative Researchers, Engineers, and Portfolio Managers. The team is comprised of technical and hands-on builders, each wearing multiple hats, and so will the candidate. Responsibilities As a Quant Developer Intern on the team, you will collaborate with other members of the team. Your key responsibilities will include but not limited to: Manage and scale core components of our research infrastructure including data collection, machine learning framework, backtester etc. Build out data pipelines for collecting new alternative datasets that can be monetized and incorporated in live trading Add capabilities to our research and trading infrastructure for new assets/asset classes Build tools and automation that bring trading strategies to life Requirements Currently enrolled in a BS/MS/PhD program in Computer Science or equivalent Strong programming background in Python and C++ Strong problem solving and communication skills Ability to multi-task and have ownership mentality Experience with Python data science stack e.g., Pandas/Numpy/Scikit-learn Outstanding coding, debugging and analytical skills Devoted to writing automated tests Location New York Salary (for internships based in the U.S.) Compensation for Quantitative Developer Interns on the Pipeline team in New York has typically been $15,000-$18,000 per month, with the actual salary dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s education level, work experience and credentials, and/or skill level, geographic location, and other market conditions.
