Our program immerses students in realistic and dynamic simulated medical emergencies that transform the way students approach and solve problems. HMS MEDscience engages over 4,000 high school students (including nearly 1,200 Boston Public School students) through school-year and summer programs.
Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
HMS MEDscience has an opening for an experienced team teacher for its high school biology-based enrichment program. In addition to teaching, this position will be responsible for coordinating the logistics of our programming for various partners and support the training of volunteers who join our teaching team. This position will directly support the work that advances the goals and vision of HMS MEDscience (http://hmsmedscience.org/mission). This team member will work effectively within a culture inclusive of individuals with diverse backgrounds, styles, abilities, and motivations, and appreciate and leverage the capabilities, insights, and ideas of all individuals. This role will focus primarily on MEDscience’s clinical program, but may have the opportunity to teach other program areas (including laboratory science, forensic science, and biomedical engineering) over time.
