Job Description Portico is seeking a Meetings & Events Coordinator to support our team based at a world renowned insurance firm in the City. You’ll manage the booking, forecasting, and logistics of meetings and events across the London and Ipswich offices, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all visitors and colleagues. What You’ll Do Coordinate all meeting and event bookings Oversee logistics and room readiness across both sites Liaise with internal teams, external stakeholders, and service partners Support wider front of house operations when needed Deliver a polished, welcoming, and efficient service Hours: 40 Hours per week, with shifts between 7am-5pm, from Monday-Friday. As per business needs. Salary: £38,605 per annum Qualifications Essential Skills & Experience Proven experience coordinating meetings and events within a corporate environment Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple bookings and priorities Confident working independently as well as collaboratively within a wider team Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise professionally with stakeholders at all levels A consistently positive, caring, and engaging approach to service delivery Demonstrates high levels of initiative, reliability, and a commitment to excellence Desirable Skills & Experience Experience using Trimble/Manhattan booking or workplace management systems Previous exposure to front of house or hospitality operations Ability to build strong working relationships with service partners and internal teams Personal Attributes Warm, welcoming, and service driven Proactive problem solver with strong attention to detail Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing demands Naturally Additional Information What's in it for you?
