Legacy Hotels and Resorts has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Meeting and Event Sales Executive to join the sales team at the Courtyard by Marriott London, Heathrow Airport. This fantastic hotel features a spacious ground floor with a reception area, business lounge, gym, bar, restaurant, Starbucks coffee, 10 meeting rooms (with the largest accommodating up to 650 banquet style), 3 media pods, and an event hub. The hotel also has five upper floors with 244 bedrooms. The sixth floor offers a unique Sky Bar, PK’s destination Restaurant, private dining, and an outside terrace, all with stunning views of the airport runway.
Conveniently located and easily accessible from across the country, the hotel offers superb facilities for guests. Thoughtfully designed with state-of-the-art facilities throughout, it’s perfect for both business and pleasure.
The position will report to the Director of Sales and involve managing day-to-day M&E activities. The primary responsibilities will include building customer relationships, maximizing revenue, and planning events for up to 650 guests. Close collaboration with clients and hotel departments is essential, along with a proven track record in a similar role. The job requires core office hours, with occasional flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities
  • Responsible for incoming enquiries, from conversion through to seamless transition to operations for event execution and back to sales.
  • Managing multiple tasks and communicating frequently with clients.
  • Organising client events and working closely with other departments to ensure these are executed without flaw.
  • Prepares all event documentation and coordinates with all relevant hotel departments and the customer to ensure consistent, high-level service through pre-event, during event and post-event.
  • Recognises opportunities to maximize revenue and conversion and drive repeat business.
  • Takes personal responsibility to adhere to sales and event brand standards for enquiry. handling, event planning, and pre & post-event.
