Career Vision Recruiters are recruiting for a Meeting & Events Co-ordinator for a Hotel property in Co. Meath. You will be responsible for maximising the sales potential and achieving the Meeting & Events sales targets of hotel. The ideal candidate will have exceptionally strong experience of co-ordinating bespoke events, corporate activities, conferences and weddings. You will work with closely with the operations team who are responsible for on the ground delivery of exceptional service experiences for our guests be they corporate or leisure.

REQUIREMENTS:

· Candidates should have 1 – 2 years previous in event sales or coordinating experience in a hotel or venue
· The successful candidate should have a can-do approach and a positive attitude.
· Excellent organisational skills and good eye for detail.
· Strong selling and interpersonal skills.
· High level of creativity

Responsibilities

· To proactively generate meeting and events enquiries.
· To conduct site inspections on the property with potential clients
· To comfortably entertain appropriate clients when required.
· To close prospects as confirmed bookings and maximise all revenue potential by upselling in all revenue producing areas.
· To carry out clients show rounds, site inspections and manage their bookings
