ISH Venues is part of International Students House (ISH), a well-established London student centre offering accommodation, social spaces, and support services for British and international students. Our venue includes eight versatile event spaces used by a wide range of clients, including charities, local authorities, corporate partners, and international organisations.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

  • Previous experience in event or conference operations
  • Confident with audio-visual and sound equipment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Leadership or supervisory experience
  • Professional, calm under pressure, and tactful
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours (including evenings and weekends)

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

As Operations Team Leader, you’ll play a vital role in delivering smooth, professional events. You’ll work hands-on to prepare meeting rooms and support technical needs, supervise the porter team, liaise with clients, and ensure a high standard of service throughout.
You’ll be the go-to person in the absence of the Operations Supervisor and ensure events are set up, run efficiently, and leave a positive impression on all attendees.
