As our Meetings & Events Shift Leader you will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You will be expected to achieve a high level of service through the constant monitoring of standards. As a result, you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a warm, personable nature and a can-do attitude. You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.

Responsibilities
  • Be fully conversant with all Meeting & Event rooms, layouts, product availability and all other associated aspects.
  • Ensure that M&E rooms not in use are in an appropriate state for show-rounds of potential customers.
  • Be present to meet and greet customers checking requirements and passing on relevant information (e.g. fire evacuation procedure, directions etc.).
  • Supervise smaller events such as private dinning/anniversaries etc.
  • Ensure superior levels of food and beverage service to hotel guests are maintained.
  • Ensure all areas are clean and always maintained.
