JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing corporate meetings, conferences, special events. This role involves managing every aspect of the event process—from concept to completion including budgeting, vendor coordination, site logistics, client communication, and on-site event management. Engages with Banquet function planning and BEO with Chefs. Works with various Event management systems. The manager ensures each event aligns with the organization’s goals and delivers a memorable and seamless guest experience. This position primarily handles events of high complexity.
Recognizes opportunities to maximize revenue opportunities by up-selling and offering enhancements to create outstanding events.
The ideal candidate must have: 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 2-3 years’ experience in the event management, food and beverage, sales and marketing. The ability to develop a working relationship with outside vendors and establishing prices and service agreements to enhance the event experience and to increase additional revenue opportunities for the property as needed. The knowledge and experience in Creating opportunities to upsell during event planning. The ability to manage the department controllable expenses to achieve or exceed budgeted goals to ensure that events progress seamlessly by following established procedures, collaborating with other employees, and ensuring accuracy.
