Please do not share outside of the organization. Your Role: EMD Electronics has openings for Gas and Chemical Megasys Technicians for its team in Santa Clara, CA. The individual will be responsible for supporting the technical demands of the site gas and/or chemical equipment. Must be capable of performing cylinder and drum changes on all chemical and gas systems and perform complex troubleshooting and problem resolution for all equipment. They will ensure compliance in operation and maintenance procedures, safety, and drive flawless execution. The technician will be responsible for supporting over 500 pieces of distribution equipment of various types and vendors. You will drive a ZERO safety or quality incident culture. The individual will also be involved in Basic Safety Process, quality management, preventative maintenance, and training. With experience you will also support installation, decommissioning, troubleshooting and repair of all EMD Electronics Gas Systems, precursor delivery systems, & Bulk Chemical Distribution systems. Our team of 20 supports the facility 24x7. The individual may initially be assigned to a (7:00am - 3:30pm) shift for training. Once shift independent, you may be asked to support a compressed workweek schedule and/or twenty-four-hour call as required. Inexperienced and experienced will undergo comprehensive OJT and technical training and qualification program. 5 levels of technicians offer a fast-paced promotion track. Who You Are: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED 1+ years of experience in maintenance or equipment technician Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chemical and gas distribution equipment Navy Nuclear power school or Military mechanic trained Associate degree or experience in electronics, design, or engineering Pay Range for this position: $30-$50/hour The offer range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base pay compensation for this position. The actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level of experience, education, skills, and other job-related factors.
