Responsibilities:

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (10–20% INDICATIVE INPUT)

  • Actively network with clients and partners to gather business intelligence
  • Identify new business opportunities for the company, focussed on MEL
  • Collaborate in the identification of potential consultants for assignments
  • Contribute to the preparation of expressions of interest and tenders, in particular for MEL opportunities
    Qualifications:

We are looking for a young professional with prior experience in contributing to MEL assignments in the development sector. They will preferably have:

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience
  • Master’s degree or higher in social sciences (economics, statistics, social research, international development)
  • Experience in contributing to the management and technical delivery of development programmes
  • Experience in delivering MEL assignments for development programmes, preferably in Cadmus’ thematic focus areas (biodiversity, climate change, economic and private sector development, investment, financial services)
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Experience in applying quantitative and qualitative research methods
  • Flexibility to undertake short term travel
  • Fluent in English and the right to live and work in the UK

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience working in complex and time-pressured contexts
  • Strong attention to detail and proven quantitative skills
  • Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and with multicultural teams to achieve results
  • Field experience working in emerging or developing economies in Sub-Saharan Africa, and/or in South and East Asia
  • Experience working with FCDO Logframes and Theories of Change
  • Experience in supporting business development activities

Responsibilities

We are looking for an analytical, diligent, and development-committed professional to support our Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) practice as MEL analyst. We are looking for an individual with prior experience in delivering MEL assignments to join our dynamic and growing MEL team in London. The MEL analyst will support the technical delivery of our project portfolio, while working collaboratively with the wider Cadmus team to win, manage, and deliver programmes. The Cadmus UK team has an active role in technical delivery of its programmes, and the candidate will have the qualities required to help deliver technical MEL assignments, whilst also contributing to programme management roles and business development.
