We're looking for an Account Director to join our Melbourne region in this pivotal role. Reporting to the regional GM, your primary focus is as a “trusted advisor” across relationship management, growth and maintenance with key customers within the account portfolio. You'll act as a customer and people interface - representing Planit with the confidence, gravitas and strategic mindset to nurture and grow our customer relationships. This is a high visibility role forming part of the regional leadership group. What You’ll Do: Strategic: * Help drive operational efficiencies, aligning to the requirements of Planit and NRI to ensure compliance * Provide and display visible leadership across our organisation in line with Planit's ways of working * Help us build and deliver a safe, cohesive, and supportive work environment and culture for our people * Support personal and professional development across our organization, including investment in visible and ongoing personal development, providing consistent feedback through both formal and informal programs * Follow,  curate, develop and maintain  our policies and guidelines * Put the customer at the heart of our business, make business decisions that start with the impact to the customer, and treat our customer relationship and customer data as our core business asset * Lead our organisation and people through change and towards a better future * Take ownership of programs of internal work either directly or indirectly related to your functional area of leadership and deliver consistently great results * Embrace, adopt and role model the Planit values Delivery: * Take ownership of building industry specific networks, internally and externally * Attend network events and identify new contacts regularly. Actively manage stakeholder maps within Altify * Professionally manage your pipeline daily within Salesforce – adding new opportunities weekly and updating opportunities daily (new information, key actions, lessons) * Ensure your pipeline velocity is focused on, constantly driving opportunities and ensuring that opportunities do not stall * Support focus on a balanced pipeline growth activity to add new opportunities to your pipeline across the full financial year, reporting on current quarter, quarter 1 and quarter 2 * Support the drive of a profitable pipeline mix by ensuring your pipeline is well balanced across technical testing, quality engineering, business agility, right shoring and digital. What We’re Looking For: * Minimum of 5 years in an account management or equivalent, account director or customer success role, or 5 years at a principal consultant level in similar professional services environment or other agreed relevant experience. * Advanced communication skills - Account directors must have the ability to communicate through verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influencing skills. Public speaking skills are highly advantageous * Results orientated and driven by core financial and customer metrics Experience in building complex responses to tenders or statements of work and delivering enterprise services against core contract terms.  * Demonstrated commitment to values and culture led / people-first organisations and organisational diversity. * Strong and well-developed people leadership experience and skill including exposure to common leadership and development frameworks including the support of performance management activities. * Ability to objectively review complex customer problems and make high quality data based and financially sound decisions and incorporation of customer impact analysis to strategy, planning and delivery, including as required contractual change requests (CR) * Ability to manage complex multi-stakeholder environments. * Strategic thinking, planning and creative problem-solving skills. * Demonstrate proactive planning and organisation skills. * Ability to thrive under pressure and in a fluid, ambiguous and culturally diverse environment. * Experience in service delivery management and delivery of complex, medium-budget (up to $10M) customer programs of work. * Demonstrated ability to build both in-person and virtual networks within the broader industry, staying abreast of industry and general market trends and understanding how changes within Testing and Quality Engineering can address challenges within our customers businesses. * Ability to represent the business in local business development, trade and industry.  Why Join NRI Planit ?
