COMPENSATION Full-Time $18.67-$26.13/hour *This figure shown represents the minimum and maximum of the range for this role. Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or general education degree (GED); six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Thorough knowledge of credit union's computer system for performing basic input/output tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE MEMBER ACCOUNT SPECIALIST Member Service Communicate effectively with prospective and current members and represent the credit union positively and professionally Open new accounts Set up new account files and provide members with all the necessary information for membership including IRA Accounts, Trust Accounts, and professional accounts Research account discrepancies and assist members in balancing their accounts Provide support on the teller line Service Selling Promote, explain, and cross-sell other credit union services such as electronic services, debit cards and credit cards Provide information on investment alternatives to deposit funds with the credit union Look for opportunities to improve members’ financial well-being including loan referrals to a lending employee Technical Skills Maintain an up-to-date and comprehensive knowledge of credit union products and on all related policies, procedures, rules and regulations, including robbery procedures ABOUT HORIZON CREDIT UNION Founded in Spokane, Washington in 1947, we built our foundation on community outreach and meaningful connections with our members and neighbors.
