Key Responsibilities: - Review and verify all documentation related to member business loan applications to ensure completeness and accuracy. - Coordinate with members, loan officers, and external partners to gather necessary information and clarify application details. - Prepare and process loan documentation, understanding how to read and analyze tax returns, and business cash flow statements. - Ensure compliance with credit union policies, federal regulations, and lending standards throughout the loan processing cycle. - Monitor loan application status and communicate updates to relevant stakeholders. - Maintain organized records of all loan documentation and processing activities. - Assist in resolving any issues or discrepancies that arise during the loan process. - Support the loan team with administrative tasks as needed to facilitate smooth operations. Skills and Qualifications: - Proven experience in commercial loan processing, preferably within a credit union or financial institution. - Strong understanding of commercial lending practices and regulatory requirements. - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. - Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in loan processing software and Microsoft Office Suite. - Knowledge of credit analysis and financial statement review is a plus. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in finance or banking is preferred.
