Description

Care Providers of Minnesota is a non-profit membership association for providers of long-term care services and supports. Our mission is to lead our 1,000+ members from across Minnesota to excellence. We are the state affiliate for the American Health Care Association/National Center for Assisted Living, and with our national partners we help members succeed.
We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic person to join our team as our full-time member engagement specialist. This position will provide support to the member services department and operations, assisting in the preparation and implementation of education events, project management and overall office operations.
Qualified candidates will assist in planning, preparation, and implementation of all education seminars and webinars; annual convention; special events and committee meetings within the department. This position is also responsible for maintaining related records in the Association database, generate reports and lists from the database, act as association contact in processing education and event registrations and receptionist coverage as scheduled. This position shall provide superior customer service to our members and administrative support for multiple staff.
Job Qualifications:
· Minimum 2-year degree or 3 – 5 years related experience; knowledge of the hospitality/trade meeting industry
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Efficient and organized, ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time according to deadlines
· Ability to work independently and collaboratively
· Must be flexible with the ability to switch from one task to another to meet deadlines
· Strong, positive customer service skills
· Demonstrate strong office administrative skills
· Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
