Description:

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Under general supervision and consistent with EKC’s mission, vision, guiding principles and brand statements, provides quality service to members and contributes to the success of the branch through the achievement of established retail sales goals and the application of member relationship management tools and techniques. Provides direct banking services and promotes relationship building with business and retail members through the provision of a variety of EKC products and related services. Actively participates in product and service campaigns. Conducts a variety of retail member service administration activities including end of day balancing. Acts as joint custodian for Treasury. Balances, services and maintains onsite and offsite ATM machines including processing ATM and night deposit transactions, reconciling ATM general ledgers and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions; provides general administrative support to the branch including changing and reviewing branch security tapes; Provides general administrative support such as processing mail and maintaining files and records. Responsible for sundry and additional duties as assigned.

SCHEDULE DESCRIPTION

  • Part-Time: Tuesday and Friday – 9* hours weekly*

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Secondary school diploma
  • A minimum of six months experience in handling cash and dealing with customers in a sales & service environment; experience will have been gained through an EKC position, another financial institution or through a school work experience program.

Successful candidates also require:

  • demonstrated oral communication skills and ability to project a courteous, professional image
  • demonstrated knowledge of EKC products and services and familiarity with current banking system.
  • PC literacy with demonstrated keyboarding skills
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Word or other word processing software, and e-mail skills
  • Ability to demonstrate basic mathematical skills

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
