Description Community West Credit Union is looking for a people person as a Member Service Representative to work at our Kentwood branch location. The starting pay range for an MSR I position is $17.22 an hour, paid bi-weekly. Full-time | M - F | 8:45 AM- 5:15 PM | 40 hours weekly Rotating Saturdays - 8:45 AM - 12:15 PM Good pay | GREAT benefits | 401k at 90 days Generous time off in 1st Year | Vacations | Holidays | Sick time Casual dress code WHAT WILL YOU DO Provide members and potential members the full range of financial services offered by Community West Credit Union. Perform member transactions utilizing the CBX system. Respond to questions, concerns and requests for assistance in an effective, friendly and optimistic manner. Answer questions about credit union products and services including general knowledge about loans, business accounts, and fiduciary accounts Process checks received from members, maintain a cash drawer or pods and have the ability to accurately account for funds received and dispersed throughout the workday. Process member transaction requests such as credit card advances, money orders, and cashier’s checks Actively involved in CWCU endorsed community events to foster a positive credit union image WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US Our mission at Community West is to develop passionate, empowered employees that enrich the lives of our members and communities. You can expect one week of onboarding and orientation. Followed by a week of job shadowing and being shadowed for the next 2-3 weeks as you become familiar with your new role. You will be trained through in-person, hands-on, and online learning. When you are ready, you will transition to assisting members on your own. You will meet with your manager weekly, then monthly to develop and achieve personal and professional goals.
