Description

The Member Services Coordinator will act as the direct point of contact for Chicago Stars FC Season Ticket Members with the primary focus on developing strong relationships and providing first-class service. This individual will drive renewal sales, up sell and cross sell products to current members, and lead efforts on different projects throughout the year including event management, gifting strategies and ticket operations assistance. This role will also assist with the matchday experience for groups and general fans.
The Member Services Coordinator should demonstrate success in customer service and be ready to contribute to the goals of the Chicago Stars Member Services and Ticketing Departments.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



    • Bachelor’s degree in sports management, marketing, or communications

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
    • Ability to stand, walk, and actively engage with people for a few hours.
      The salary for this position is a range of $45,000-$50,000 depending on experience. Candidates must successfully clear the Chicago Stars background check or have a previously cleared valid background check on file with the club before an offer is finalized.

    Responsibilities
    • Develop strong relationships with assigned Season Ticket Members through proactive communication such as phone calls, emails, seat visits and newsletters
    • Meet or exceed both individual sales and renewal goals
    • Use CRM to maintain updated information regarding clients and to track benefit redemption
    • Up-sell and cross-sell products including groups and individual suites
    • Anticipate, respond to, and resolve all complaints, requests and inquiries in a professional manner
    • Assist in developing and delivering customized member programs, events and benefits to drive customer loyalty
    • Lead the execution of matchday experiences such as hi-five tunnels, half-time mini matches and post match photo opportunities
    • Collect referrals from season ticket members
    • Monitor inbound communication channels including tickets main phone line and email to assist all fans


      • Collaborate with the marketing team on revenue-driving newsletters

      • Represent the club at events across the Chicagoland area with a focus on driving new business and creating brand awareness.
      • Effectively communicate with team members and front office staffQualifications:
      • Minimum (2) years of customer service, preferably in ticket retention and service
      • Must be self-motivated and goal oriented
      • Must demonstrate professionalism and a positive attitude at all times.
      • Must possess knowledge of the NWSL and the Chicago Stars FC, or a willingness to learn, and be able to put this
      • Knowledge to work in engaging with fans and the public.
      • Must be a team player who demonstrates initiative and can collaboratively solve problems.
      • Must be flexible and efficiently work in a fast-paced environment.
      • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
      • Must have reliable access to transportation to get to/from events across the Chicagoland area and home matches.
