We are seeking a Part-Time Membership Services Coordinator to join our team at WTVP PBS! As central Illinois’ PBS station, we are dedicated to connecting and inspiring our community through quality content that educates, informs, and entertains. With the support of thousands of members, donors, and partners, WTVP delivers trusted local and national programming and meaningful community engagement.

POSITION OVERVIEW

The Member Services Coordinator plays a vital role on WTVP’s development team, ensuring members receive exceptional service, contributions are processed promptly and accurately, and our membership database is managed with integrity.
This part-time position is ideal for someone who combines organizational precision with a warm, donor-first approach. It requires strong attention to detail, comfort recording and entering financial transactions and deposits, and a commitment to creating positive experiences for WTVP’s supporters. This position is also responsible for maintaining accurate donor information and running accurate donor reports through our donor CRM system.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with financial and data entry tasks.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Experience with CRM/database systems (Allegiance or similar preferred).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with professionalism and care.
  • Commitment to the mission and values of public media.

Acknowledgments & Stewardship

  • Ensure timely acknowledgment of member contributions through thank you letters, notes, and volunteer-supported outreach.
  • Coordinate fulfillment of donor premiums and manage monthly renewals.
  • Support matching gift claims and PBS Passport activations
Responsibilities

Member Services & Support

  • Serve as the first point of contact for member inquiries, including PBS Passport, premiums, address changes, and general account questions.
  • Provide timely, professional, and caring customer service to support donor satisfaction and retention.

Gift Processing & Database Management

  • Accurately process contributions, prepare deposits, and manage credit card/EFT transactions.
  • Enter and maintain donor information in the CRM system (Allegiance), ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Generate reports for internal and external stakeholders to support fundraising and financial tracking.

Acknowledgments & Stewardship

  • Ensure timely acknowledgment of member contributions through thank you letters, notes, and volunteer-supported outreach.
  • Coordinate fulfillment of donor premiums and manage monthly renewals.
  • Support matching gift claims and PBS Passport activations.

Administrative Support

  • Oversee postage accounts, mailings, and office supply orders related to membership operations.
  • Maintain mailing lists for the WTVP Program Guide and other communications.
