Description The Westfield Area YMCA is looking for reliable, friendly and enthusiastic individuals to join our Member Services department at our Westfield and Cranford locations! We offer a fun, positive and inclusive work environment. The primary duties include, but are not limited to: Greeting members, guests and other staff at the Welcome Center with a friendly and welcoming attitude. For more information, please visit our website: https://westfieldynj.org/ Requirements Must have the ability to communicate well, both written and verbally, in English Must be willing to obtain, maintain and renew CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, Emergency Oxygen, EPI and Asthma certifications or equivalent; will train on-site Must possess the capabilities and maturity to handle the responsibilities involved in maintaining a safe environment Must be able to create and maintain positive relations with members, participants and staff effectively. Prior customer service experience a plus, but not required
Responsibilities
The Member Services Representative greets members and guests, assists with membership enrollment, and resolves member concerns. They also monitor facility security and process payments accurately.
