Golf Services/Backshop.
The Golf Services Attendant is the eyes and the ears of the golf operation. This position is frequently the first and last contact point and interaction that our members have with our staff. Outside Operations attendants are expected to provide exceptional customer service while assisting members with any or all of their pre and post-round needs. The position is required to work alongside and maintain communication with the Professional staff, Starter, Shuttle Bus Driver and Range attendant.

Responsibilities
  • Operate the Welcome Station, Bag Drop and Backshop areas while maintaining a visual presence to attend to the needs of the membership
  • Follow and complete all tasks on the Daily Opening and Closing Procedures
  • Provide welcoming experience to each Member and their guests to ensure a pleasant beginning to their round
  • Engage each member and their guest upon arrival and inquire as to any special requests pertaining to their visit
  • Check with the Starter/Professional for unusual or special instructions, such as events, cart rules, matches, etc.
  • Be in possession of the daily tee sheet and monitor for updates throughout the shift; announce the arrival of each member and guest when entering the property
  • Keep work area clean and presentable (Welcome Station, Bag Drop, Backshop, Club/Cart Return)
  • Maintain verbal communication channels with the Starter, Professional Shop, Range Attendant, Bus Driver and fellow Golf Operations attendants
  • Be prepared for inclement weather, understand bad weather procedures and communicate with Professional Shop during weather alerts as necessary
  • Assist other Golf Operations staff as needed
  • This position may perform additional duties as needed/required
  • Designated Shift Leader will be responsible for overseeing the Operations and reporting directly to the Starter and/or on-shift Golf Professional
  • Golf Operations Attendants must adhere to uniform guidelines including wearing a radio at all times
