POSITION TITLE Membership Sales Associate – Full-time (Temporary) DEPARTMENT Marketing/Membership REPORTS TO Membership Manager FSLA Status Non-Exempt POSITION SUMMARY Discovery Place is hiring a temporary Membership Sales Associate to help grow our member base and keep current members engaged. This role combines direct sales with phone and email outreach to prospects and existing members. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Meet monthly targets for new membership sales Make outbound calls to expired memberships and warm leads Manage scheduled calls with members and prospects via Calendly Contact lapsed members and convert renewals Identify and close upgrade opportunities with current members Engage guests and convert conversations into membership sales Process new memberships, renewals, and upgrades in Ticketure Respond to member inquiries via phone and email within 24 hours Track personal sales metrics and conversion rates Support member events at all Discovery Place locations Handle payment transactions following accounting procedures QUALIFICATIONS MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Requirements High school diploma or GED Availability to work weekends Skills Self-motivated to meet sales goals with minimal supervision Delivers excellent, prompt customer service Communicates clearly and persuasively articulates membership benefits to prospective members Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks accurately and on time PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets Experience with membership or subscription sales Proficiency with CRM databases (Salesforce preferred) Competencies Analyzes data to inform decision-making Identifies and resolves problems with resourcefulness Demonstrates accuracy, thoroughness, and attention to detail Delivers clear, informative responses to questions and inquiries Adapts quickly to shifting priorities while keeping projects on track Thrives both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, results-driven environment PHYSICAL REQUIRMENTS Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
