MEMBERSHIP COORDINATOR

The Membership Coordinator of Dorado Beach Resort and Club aids Club Members and performs customer service-oriented initiatives to ensure membership retention and new membership recruitment. This position reports directly to the Director of Membership in ensuring timely and appropriate communication tools that assist in providing Members with the experience and lifestyle they chose at Dorado Beach. The Membership Coordinator position fosters relationships and is instrumental in driving the Member onboarding process. He/she champions the onboarding process to help the new Members develop relationships, experience personalized service, cultivate Member recognition, and participate in events that enrich their experience. The Membership Coordinator will partner with the Director of Membership on New Member Orientations and New Member Events designed to acclimate and connect new Members with the community.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bilingual (English & Spanish)
  • Valid Puerto Rico Drivers License
  • 1-2 years of professional work experience preferred.
  • Excellent computer skills. Proficient in MS Word & Excel (must), Jonas, Social Media platforms (preferred)
  • Organized, detail-oriented and self-starter.
  • Demonstrated high quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations. Must be pleasant, personable, patient, creative, confident, and comfortable speaking on the phone and in-person with current members.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; follow through with well thought-out execution.
  • Efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision
  • Perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Conscientious work ethic.
Responsibilities
  • Supports the Director of Membership in the welcoming of new members on the onboarding process, such as generation of ID cards, vehicle tags, Member Central registration.
  • Supports in updating the member information in Jonas Software including name, address, telephone number, email, birthday, gender, photo, etc. Supports the Director of Membership in organizing and maintaining member recognition and retention programs such as birthday/anniversary promotions with each department.
  • Creates weekly New Member Report and distributes it to the management team.
  • Manages House Guest applications and ensures all documents are completed and payments are processed prior to activation.
  • Be fully knowledgeable of membership programs, benefits, facilities, categories, and all Resort amenities to assist members and guests.
  • Assist walk-in members with their account information and /or payments among other requests. Work closely with the accounting department with the process and log of these payments.
  • Supports and coordinates with Director of Security the Golf Cart Driving Lessons as well as Golf Cart Registration process.
  • Receive and screen members and guests. Answer, screen, and route telephone calls in a timely and professional manner. Take accurate phone messages.
  • Serve as point of contact for Member and provide facility information and assistance as needed.
  • Support the Membership and Marketing Department in any Member events as deemed necessary.
  • Assist management with various administrative tasks including but not limited to typing correspondence, preparing reports, forms, documents, newsletters, special event mailings, and general publications; photo copying, fax, and mail distribution, filing, data entry; arrange appointments and make meeting arrangements for the Membership and Marketing Management Team.
