The Membership Coordinator will be responsible for supervising and ensuring teller, member service and loan areas of the branch function adhere to policies and provide quality service to our membership. Responsible for all head teller related duties including maintaining and balancing cash recyclers, ensuring checks are scanned timely, the branch is balanced at the end of day, and all operational opening and closing processes are followed as stated in procedures. 2. Responsible for overall plastic card maintenance in branch (includes processing applications, issuing cards, blocking cards, changing PINN #’s, assisting with problems, maintaining Plastic card inventories, and reconciling to monthly reports as required, etc.) 3. Understand and explain the eligibility requirements for membership. Open new accounts (Savings, checking, money management, etc.), account maintenance, ordering checks and assisting members with complex issues that may incur with our services. 4. Responsible for establishing share certificates including counseling the members on the features and benefits, processing account maintenance as required, and staying current and knowledgeable regarding all regulations relating to these accounts. 5. Working knowledge of FFCU loan application system and ability to take loan applications and make loan decisions within assign approval authority. Must adhere to lending matrix. 6. Maintain and monitor various reports as requested by management. Complete in a prompt and timely manner. 7. Follow all Credit Union Security policies and branch procedures. 8. Comply with Founders’ policies and procedures, as well applicable laws, regulations, and statutes issued by federal agencies such as NCUA and FFIEC, including, but not limited to, GLB and BSA. Employees have legal and regulatory obligations to respect and protect the privacy of information and its integrity and confidentiality. 9. All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: The Membership Coordinator must have at least a two-year degree or two years of previous financial industry experience. Individual must possess a good work ethic and be able to work independently. They should also be able to quickly gain knowledge about all Credit Union products and services in order to provide members with information on interest rates, savings accounts, certificates, or any service offered at the Credit Union. Candidate must be available Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. - 6 p.m. As the Membership Coordinator, you will receive competitive salary and access to benefits on the first day of employment.
